Medical aesthetics and functional medicine for Toano and Norge
Straight down Richmond Road, about fifteen minutes. The same county, and closer than most people from upper James City County assume.
We see Toano and Norge patients at our one location: 1309 Jamestown Rd, Suite 204, Williamsburg, VA 23185
The short version
Toano and Norge are in James City County, which means our patients here are not really travelling to another town at all — they are driving to the other end of their own county.
It is a distinction worth making, because upper James City County has grown quickly and a fair number of residents still think of Richmond as the place you go for anything medical. For aesthetics and functional medicine, Williamsburg is about fifteen minutes away and Richmond is closer to an hour.
We are a two-provider practice on Jamestown Road, run by board-certified Family Nurse Practitioners. Both aesthetics and functional medicine happen in the same building, with the same two clinicians.
Two sides of one practice
Aesthetics
Injectables, resurfacing, energy devices, regenerative treatment and esthetician services. Consultation first, always.

Hormones, medical weight loss, IV therapy, peptides and metabolic testing — for the causes underneath how you look and feel.

It is the nearest practice of this kind
For most of Toano and Norge, we are the closest option that combines medical aesthetics with functional medicine. The alternative is a considerably longer drive west.
One county, one practice, two providers
You see the same two clinicians every visit. For treatments that run as a series over months — which is most of the meaningful ones — that continuity is the difference between a plan and a sequence of appointments.
The causes, not just the surface
Hormones, thyroid, iron, perimenopause and metabolic health all show up in skin, hair and weight. Our functional medicine side means those can be investigated rather than worked around.
Appointments that fit a commute
A good proportion of our upper county patients commute toward Richmond or Newport News. Tell us which direction you travel and when, and we will schedule around it rather than offering you the next available slot.
The drive from Toano and Norge
Richmond Road — Route 60 — runs directly from Toano and Norge into Williamsburg, and for most of the upper county that is the whole journey. Allow about fifteen minutes from Toano and a little less from Norge.
I-64 eastbound from exit 227 is the faster option when Route 60 is slow through the Lightfoot stretch, particularly around the outlet shopping on weekends. Come off at Route 199 and cut across to Jamestown Road.
The one genuinely slow window is Saturday afternoon traffic near the outlets on Richmond Road, which can add ten minutes for no obvious reason. Weekday mornings are the clearest run.
Where to find us: 1309 Jamestown Rd, Suite 204, Williamsburg, VA 23185. Free parking on site. Full directions and hours are on the contact page, or text us at 757-585-4647 if you are running late.
Where our upper county patients come from
We see patients from Toano, Norge and Lightfoot, and from the Stonehouse community in particular — enough of them that Stonehouse is one of the neighborhoods we hear named most often at consultations.
Upper James City County has a mix we notice in the appointment book: established residents who have been here for decades, and a steady stream of newer arrivals in the developments off Route 60. The newer arrivals often come in having left a practice behind somewhere else and wanting to know what is available locally. The honest answer is that a good deal more is available fifteen minutes down Route 60 than most people expect.
