New Kent sits between Richmond and Williamsburg, with not a great deal in between. We are the Williamsburg end of that choice, about twenty-five minutes down I-64.

The short version
New Kent County residents making a decision about medical aesthetics are usually choosing a direction rather than a practice. Richmond is west, Williamsburg is east, and the county itself has very little of this kind of care.
That makes the decision genuinely different from the one a Williamsburg or Yorktown resident faces, and it deserves a straighter answer than most service-area pages give. Going west gets you a larger market with more options and more specialists. Going east gets you a shorter drive from most of the county and a smaller practice.
We are two board-certified Family Nurse Practitioners on Jamestown Road, doing aesthetics and functional medicine in the same practice. There is no New Kent office and there is no Richmond office. There is one location.

Usually the shorter drive
From most of New Kent, Williamsburg is about twenty-five minutes and central Richmond is closer to forty. From the western end of the county that reverses, and we will say so if you ask.
Continuity you can rely on across a series
Most treatments worth having run over months. Two providers means the clinician who assessed you is the one tracking your result — which matters more when each appointment involves a half-hour drive each way.
One trip for two problems
Because functional medicine and aesthetics are in the same practice, a visit can cover hormones or metabolic health as well as the reason you originally booked. For a rural county with a drive attached, that consolidation is worth more than it would be to someone living five minutes away.
We will tell you to stay home when that is the answer
If a concern needs a surgeon or a specialist, Richmond has more of both, and we would rather point you there than start a treatment series that was never going to get you where you wanted. Our guide to med spa versus surgeon sets out where that line falls.
The drive from New Kent
I-64 eastbound is the route, and the drive is about twenty-five minutes from the middle of the county. Exit 211 at Barhamsville and exit 214 at Croaker are the usual on-ramps; from either, stay on I-64 to the Route 199 exits and cut across to Jamestown Road.
From the Providence Forge and Bottoms Bridge end, allow closer to thirty-five minutes. From Talleysville and the eastern half of the county it is nearer twenty.
I-64 through this stretch is generally clear, and the congestion is at the Williamsburg end rather than on the way. Summer weekends and the Busch Gardens season are the exception. Weekday mornings are reliably quick.

Where our New Kent patients come from
We see patients from across the county — Providence Forge, Barhamsville, Quinton, Talleysville and Lanexa — and from the Brickshire community in particular, which is the New Kent address we hear most often.
The practical thing we have learned from treating a rural county is that trip efficiency matters. A treatment plan that looks reasonable on paper can be unworkable when every session is a fifty-minute round trip, so we would rather build a plan around the number of visits you can realistically make than book you into an ideal schedule you will abandon in month three. Say so at the consultation and it will change what we recommend.
