The treatment

What peptide therapy actually is.

Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the body's natural signaling molecules. In a clinical setting, specific peptides can be used to support targeted goals such as recovery, metabolic health, sleep, immune function, and healthy aging.

There's no single peptide that does everything, and the right one for you can only be determined through a consultation. Depending on your goals and health history, a plan might draw on examples such as Tesamorelin, BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-c, GLP-based options, and others — but which (if any) is appropriate is a clinical decision we make together, not a menu you choose from.

Because peptides are prescribed by our clinical team and personalized to your health history, this isn't an off-the-shelf product you add to a cart. It starts with a consultation, and what we recommend is grounded in your full picture rather than a generic template. Availability of specific peptides is also governed by current FDA and compounding regulations and can change over time.

Browse by goal below. Hover (or tap) any peptide for the plain-English story — what it is, what it's typically explored for, and how it's given. Which peptides (if any) fit you is always decided in your consultation — based on your goals, labs, and health history, never picked off a menu.

Regulatory update · July 25, 2026

Six peptides just cleared their FDA advisory vote.

At its July 23–24, 2026 meeting, the FDA's Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee recommended six of the seven peptides it reviewed for the 503A bulk drug substances list — the list that gives licensed compounding pharmacies a legal pathway to prepare a substance against an individual prescription. Emideltide (DSIP) was the one exception, recommended against in a 6–7 vote.

Important: these are advisory recommendations, not FDA approvals. The FDA is not bound by the committee's vote, and any change requires formal rulemaking that can take months. Nothing about availability changes today — we'll tell you the current status of anything we recommend at your consult.

Growth Hormone Support

Peptides in this group are typically explored for nudging your body's own growth-hormone signals — which tie into sleep, recovery, and body composition.

Body Composition

Peptides in this group are typically explored for metabolism and how the body stores and uses energy.

Recovery & Repair

Peptides in this group are typically explored for tissue repair and bouncing back from training or injury.

Skin & Longevity

Peptides in this group are typically explored for skin quality and the biology of healthy aging.

Immune Support

Peptides in this group are typically explored for immune balance and calming inflammation.

Cognitive & Mood Support

Peptides in this group are typically explored for focus, stress response, and mental clarity.

Availability of specific peptides is determined by current FDA and Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee guidance and may change. At its July 23–24, 2026 meeting the PCAC voted in favor of BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, and MOTS-c (July 23) and Epitalon and Semax (July 24), and voted against Emideltide (DSIP). Those votes are advisory recommendations, not FDA approvals; the FDA is not bound by them and formal rulemaking is still required, so final FDA action is pending. Peptides offered at Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness are prescribed by a licensed clinician and dispensed through licensed pharmacies in accordance with current federal and state regulations, including FDA compounding rules under sections 503A and 503B.
