PRX Topical Biostimulator in Williamsburg, VA.
No needles, no downtime — and your collagen does the work. A topical treatment that triggers renewal underneath without breaking the surface.

30–45 minutes per session
Minimal · mild tingling during
Continue 3–6 months after last session
Series of 4–5 · 1–2 series per year
Collagen-building without needles.
PRX is a topical biostimulator — a layered solution applied directly to the skin (no needles, no abrasion) that penetrates without breaking the surface. Once it reaches the deeper layers, it triggers collagen and elastin renewal the same way more aggressive treatments do — just on a different timeline.
PRX is a long-game treatment, not a quick fix. Visible glow shows up within a few sessions; the real collagen-building continues for 3–6 months after the last treatment in your series. That delayed-result curve is part of why we like it for clients who want gradual improvement without disrupting their week.
Three protocols on the menu, each with a slightly different formulation focus. We'll talk through which fits in consult.
Offered at Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness, 1309 Jamestown Rd Ste 204, Williamsburg, VA, serving Yorktown, Newport News and James City County.

A strong acid, without the peel.
PRX uses the same acid as a medium-depth peel, paired with an ingredient that stops it burning the surface. Compare it with a classic peel.
Applied, never injected
The solution is massaged into the skin. No needles, no abrasion.
The surface is protected
Hydrogen peroxide blunts the acid's effect on the outer layer, so you skip the frost and the peeling.
The dermis responds
The acid still reaches the dermis, where it signals the cells that make collagen and elastin.
A weekly series
Four or five sessions about a week apart. Glow shows early; collagen keeps building for three to six months.

What to expect.
How a PRX Topical Biostimulator visit runs, from the days before to the days after. Your provider walks you through all of it at the consultation.
Before
Come without makeup. Skip retinoids and acids for 2 days prior. No active sun exposure for a week beforehand.
During
We cleanse, then apply the PRX solution in measured layers using a specific massage technique that drives the formula into the skin. Most clients describe a mild tingling that fades over the application. Treatment is 30–45 minutes.
After
No visible downtime. Skin may feel slightly tight; this resolves within hours. Mild glow develops in the days after. SPF religiously — your skin is doing the renewal work, even if you can't see it.
