The treatment

What it actually does.

Microneedling uses a precision device to create thousands of microscopic channels in the skin. Your body responds by producing new collagen and elastin — the structural proteins that get harder to make as we age. The channels also let topical serums penetrate far more effectively than they ever would on intact skin.

The biggest decision on this page isn't whether to microneedle — it's which topical add-on to use. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) uses your own blood and is the original protocol. Exosomes are regenerative signaling molecules with newer evidence behind them. PDGF (platelet-derived growth factor) is the most concentrated single-factor option. They aren't interchangeable — they have different mechanisms and different price points.

Microneedling is broadly safe across skin tones because it doesn't rely on light or heat to target pigment. We see strong, consistent results in clients across the Fitzpatrick range — something worth knowing if laser hasn't been an option for you.

Pricing

Series of 3 is what we recommend for most goals. Add-on pricing is per session.

Base treatment

Face

$400$1,020 series of 3

Face + Neck

$500$1,275 series of 3

Topical add-on (per session)

Choose one. We'll talk through which makes sense for your skin and goals.

Your own blood

PRP

+$200

Platelet-rich plasma drawn and spun from your blood. The original protocol — strong track record, includes a quick blood draw.

Most concentrated

PDGF

+$350

Platelet-derived growth factor at high concentration. The most potent single-factor option we offer.

Series of 3 is recommended for collagen-driven concerns like fine lines and scarring. Single sessions are fine for glow.

What to expect.

Before

Skip retinoids and acids for 3 days prior. Arrive with clean skin. If you're doing PRP, you'll do the blood draw at the start of your appointment.

During

We apply topical numbing for 20–30 minutes, then run the device across the area in passes. Most clients describe it as a gritty vibration — not painful, just specific. Your add-on serum goes on immediately after.

After

Skin will look pink and feel warm — like a sunburn — for 24 hours. Mild flaking days 3–5. Skip makeup that first day. SPF every day going forward, no exceptions.
