The treatment

What it actually does.

Glo2Facial is a device facial from Geneo that runs four technologies in sequence. It opens with RF Pro, FDA-cleared radiofrequency for the look of firmness. Oxfoliation follows, exfoliating while a CO2-rich reaction draws oxygen to the skin's surface. Ultrasound then helps the chosen serum absorb, and the visit ends with a hands-free massage that moves fluid and calms redness.

Each treatment is customized with one of the OxyPod formulas: Hydrate, Protect, Firm, Energize, Clarify, Refine, Brighten, or Smooth. Your esthetician picks the formula and sets the intensity for what your skin is doing that day, so two visits are rarely identical.

Honest framing: this is a maintenance facial, not a resurfacing treatment. It is built for monthly visits and for pairing with injectables and laser work, and it suits skin that is dry, dull, congested, sensitive, or starting to show fine lines. If your goal is deep texture change, we will point you at microneedling or a peel instead.

The four steps

What happens, in order.

One visit, four stages. Each one sets up the next.

The RF Pro step: the twin-electrode radiofrequency applicator on the cheek

RF Pro

FDA-cleared radiofrequency that improves the appearance of mild to moderate facial wrinkles, for skin that looks firmer over a course of treatments.

The Oxfoliation step: a foaming OxyPod being worked across the cheek

Oxfoliation

Exfoliation and oxygenation together. The OxyPod gently exfoliates while a CO2-rich, bubbly reaction on the skin's surface leaves it refreshed and primed to take in the active serums.

The ultrasound step: the flat applicator gliding over serum on the cheek

Ultrasound

Micro-vibrations that soothe the skin and increase the permeability of its outer layer, so the serum chosen for you goes where it is meant to.

The Detox step: the hands-free massage head along the jawline

Detox

A relaxing, hands-free lymphatic massage that promotes circulation and reduces the look of redness and puffiness. This is the part people fall asleep in.

Step names and descriptions are the manufacturer's. Your esthetician sets the intensity of each stage for your skin.

Before, during, after

What to expect.

How a Glo2Facial visit runs, from the days before to the days after. Your provider walks you through all of it at the consultation.

  1. Before

Come with bare skin if you can; if not, we'll cleanse it for you. Skip retinoids and strong exfoliants for two days beforehand.

  2. During

About an hour, lying down. Radiofrequency feels like gentle warmth, Oxfoliation like a cool fizz, ultrasound like a hum, and the massage is the quiet part at the end. Your esthetician adjusts each stage as she goes.

  3. After

Skin looks fresher and more even straight away, and you can put makeup on and go. No downtime. Hold off on retinoids and acids for 24 hours; everything else resumes as normal.
