Since every individual is unique, there isn't a singular "best" anti-aging treatment that suits everyone. The best treatment originates from a personalized skin assessment and plan created specifically to meet your unique skin needs and desires. At Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness, we provide comprehensive skin consultations aimed at understanding your skin type, skin health, objectives, and budgetary considerations.

Our anti-aging facial treatments are designed to diminish various signs of aging, including wrinkles, fine lines, skin laxity, volume loss, uneven texture, and more. Some of our most popular anti-aging treatments include microneedling, intense-pulsed light therapy, Sculptra injections, dermal fillers, and Botox injections.

Microneedling uses tiny needles to create microscopic punctures into the outer layer of the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate the skin's normal healing process and boost collagen production and elastin levels, which are two vital elements of healthy skin. Elastin creates softness and elasticity while collagen firms up the skin, giving it a youthful appearance. We offer SkinPen and Morpheus8 (microneedling with radiofrequency).

Intense-pulsed light (IPL) tackles age spots, sun damage, acne, redness, and vascular lesions while giving your skin an overall rejuvenation. Lumecca IPL delivers specific wavelengths of light, which interact with red and brown pigments in the skin. These pigments absorb the light energy and are destroyed. The pigmented spots will initially turn darker and then flake off in about 5-7 days.

Sculptra's primary component is a biodegradable synthetic substance called poly-L-lactic acid. When injected into the skin at precise depths, it stimulates collagen production over time, leading to gradual tissue volumization and skin rejuvenation. Sculptra takes time to work and the results can last up to two years.

Dermal fillers are made of a gel-like substance called hyaluronic acid (HA) and injected under the skin in the desired area. There is an instant change in volume restoration which lasts around 10-12 months, depending on the product used and the individual. Dermal fillers can also be dissolved, if necessary.

Botox injections reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. This works by placing small injections of the botulinum toxin into targeted areas, paralyzing the muscles and firming the skin.

It is important to learn about the various treatment options available for addressing your concerns, considering risk factors, and aligning with your goals. At Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness, we pride ourselves in putting people over profits and genuinely want to help you decide what treatment is best for YOU, even if that's no treatment at all.
