FAQs
How does Morpheus work?
The Morpheus device combines microneedling with controlled radiofrequency (RF) energy, which penetrates deep into the skin’s layers. This process stimulates the natural production of collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer, smoother, and more rejuvenated skin over time.
What areas can be treated with Morpheus?
Morpheus is versatile and can be used on multiple areas, including the face, neck, abdomen, thighs, arms, and even smaller areas like around the eyes and mouth. It’s suitable for anyone looking to improve skin laxity, texture, and tone.
Is Morpheus safe for all skin types?
Yes, Morpheus is designed to be safe and effective for all skin types, including darker skin tones. The advanced technology minimizes the risk of hyperpigmentation, making it a great choice for various skin types and tones.
What does the treatment feel like?
A topical anesthetic is applied before the procedure to minimize discomfort. Patients usually report feeling mild pressure or a warming sensation. Most find the procedure quite tolerable, with minimal discomfort.

How many sessions are needed?
For optimal results, 3-4 sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart are recommended. However, your provider will recommend a customized treatment plan based on your specific skin concerns and goals.

What is the recovery time for Morpheus?
You may experience mild redness or swelling for a few days post-treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. Most people return to regular activities within 24-48 hours.

When will I see results?
Initial improvements are usually noticeable a few weeks post-treatment, with continued enhancements as collagen and elastin production increases over time. For sustained results, a yearly maintenance treatment is recommended.
Are there any side effects?
Morpheus is generally well-tolerated with minimal side effects. Temporary redness or swelling may occur but usually subsides within a few days.

Who is a good candidate for Morpheus?
Morpheus is ideal for individuals who want to improve skin laxity, smooth fine lines and wrinkles, and achieve a more youthful appearance without surgery. A consultation with our provider will determine if Morpheus is right for you based on your skin concerns and goals.

What to Expect
-
Immediately after your treatment, you will look and feel like you have a moderate sunburn. Your skin may feel warm and tighter than normal. Crusting, peeling, and itching for three to seven days post-treatment are also common. Swelling and redness may occur but is usually minor and subside quickly. You may notice small needle marks on the treatment area. Occasionally a superficial bruise will occur around the eye(s). Side effects typically clear within 3-7 days as your skin calms and regenerates from the treatment. A topical ointment will be applied post-treatment. No bandage or wrap is necessary.
-
Healing and downtime vary and depend on several factors, including the intensity of your treatment, treatment areas, your skin type, and sensitivity. Treatment of the face typically requires 1-3 days of downtime, while larger areas or combining the neck may increase downtime to 5-7 days.
-
Final healing takes about 4 weeks (grid marks may stay longer, appearing like "goosebumps').
