How does Diolaze work?
Diolaze delivers laser energy to the hair follicles, which absorbs the light and heat, causing the follicles to be destroyed. This process prevents future hair growth in the treated areas.

Diolaze can be used on many parts of the body, including the face, neck, arms, underarms, chest, back, bikini area, and legs.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Does it hurt?
Diolaze is designed to be a comfortable procedure. It includes a built-in cooling system that helps soothe the skin during treatment, making it virtually painless for most patients. When treating the brazilian area, numbing cream is applied 60 minutes before the appointment.

How long does each session take?
Treatment times vary depending on the size of the area being treated. Smaller areas like the upper lip can take just a few minutes, while larger areas like the legs or back may take up to 45 minutes.

When will I see results?
You may begin to see results after the first session, with the most significant reduction in hair growth typically becoming noticeable after multiple treatments.

Are the results permanent?
Diolaze provides long-lasting hair reduction. While some patients may experience permanent results, others might need occasional maintenance sessions to keep the treated areas hair-free.

Is there any downtime?
Diolaze requires no downtime, allowing you to return to your normal activities immediately after treatment.

Is Diolaze safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Laser hair removal is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

• Stop waxing, tweezing, and chemical epilation 3 weeks before treatment.​

• Exfoliate the treatment area the day before treatment.

• The treatment area(s) must be clean-shaven the day before or morning of your treatment.

• Avoid sun exposure and sunless tanning products on the treatment areas 7 days before your treatment.

• Chemical peels and other laser procedures should not be done within 2 weeks of your treatment.

• You cannot be treated with a laser if you have used Accutane or similar products within the last 6 months.

• Come to your appointment with clean skin. Avoid lotions or serums on treatment areas.

Post-Treatment Instructions

• Avoid physical activity that significantly increases body temperature two hours after treatment.

• Cool towels and Tylenol can be used for post-treatment discomfort.

• Avoid direct sun exposure for seven days post-treatment. Wear SPF sunsreen daily.

• Avoid any additional laser treatments or chemical procedures on the treated area for at least two weeks.

• Use moisturizer or aloe vera on the treated area for a couple of days following your treatment.

• Exfoliate treated areas every few days after your treatment to minimize risk of ingrown hairs. 

• In the rare case you experience any side effects, such as hypo- or hyper-pigmentation, prolonged

  redness or swelling, or blistering, call the office.
