LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Pre-Treatment Instructions

Stop waxing, tweezing, and chemical epilation 3 weeks prior to treatment.​

Exfoliate treatment area the day prior to treatment.

The treatment area(s) MUST BE clean-shaven the day before or morning of your treatment.

Avoid UV exposure and sunless tanning products 7 days prior to your treatment.

Chemical peels and other laser procedures should not be done within 2 weeks of your treatment.

You cannot be treated with a laser if you have used Accutane or similar products within the last 6 months.
-
Come to your appointment with clean skin. No lotions or serums on treatment areas.

Post-Treatment Instructions

Do not perform any physical activity that increases body temperature or blood pressure two hours after treatment.

Cool towels and Acetaminophen can be used for post-treatment discomfort.

Avoid extended sun exposure for seven days post-treatment.

Avoid any additional laser treatments or chemical procedures on the treated area for at least two weeks.

Use moisturizer or aloe vera on the treated area for a couple days following your treatment.

Exfoliate treated areas every few days after your treatment to minimize risk of ingrown hairs.

In the rare case you experience any side effects, such as hypo- or hyper-pigmentation, prolonged
redness or swelling, or blistering, call the office.

To achieve the best results, complete the full six-treatment schedule every 4-6 weeks.
