Hair Loss Treatments
Men and women can start experiencing thinning hair or more extensive hair loss at any age. While some patients are genetically predisposed to hair loss, others see changes after life events such as pregnancy, weight loss, medical treatments, and lifestyle concerns like stress and poor diet.

We understand the profound impact hair loss and thinning can have on both an individual's self-esteem and overall well-being. At Colonial Aesthetics & Wellness, our goal is to develop a personalized treatment plan to help you regain your hair and look and feel your best.

Frequency: 3-6 treatments recommended 4-6 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance treatment every 6 months for continued results

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy for hair regrowth harnesses the healing properties of one's blood to stimulate hair follicles and promote thicker, healthier hair. The procedure begins with a small blood draw, similar to a routine blood test. This blood sample is then spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma, which contains growth factors known to aid in tissue repair and regeneration. Once activated, the PRP is injected directly into the scalp at the level of the hair follicles. The growth factors in PRP promote cell proliferation and collagen production, which in turn support the revitalization of dormant or weak hair follicles.
Microneedling with PRP
Pricing: Single Treatment: $700 | Series of Three: $1675
Frequency: 3-6 treatments recommended 4-6 weeks apart, followed by a maintenance treatment every 6 months for continued results

Microneedling with Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) combines two effective treatments to stimulate hair regrowth. During the procedure, a microneedling device creates tiny punctures in the scalp, which triggers the skin's natural healing response and increases blood flow to the hair follicles. This micro-injury process also allows for better absorption of PRP, a concentrated solution derived from the patient's blood that is rich in growth factors. PRP is prepared by centrifuging the patient's blood to isolate platelet-rich plasma, which is then applied to the scalp during or immediately after microneedling.
